Rahul Gupta (Managing Director), a 1975 Mechanical Engineering Graduate is a veteran in the Security and IT Industry with 40 years of industry experience. He started his IT career with DCM Data Products in the year 1980. He relocated to the Middle East in 1990 and worked for Acer Middle East (A subsidiary of Acer Taiwan) as General Manager before he relocated to India in 2002 to set up a company for Acer group in India.
In the 2006 he established his own company, M/s. Smile Security and Surveillance Pvt. Ltd. (SSSPL) and conceived the brands AnexGATE and AnexSECURE and promotes them to industry verticals ranging from financial, retail, education, government, logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate and healthcare. AnexGATE range of products, solutions and services cater for Unified Advanced Network Security + Secure Connectivity solutions (www.anexgate.com) and AnexSECURE range of products, solutions and services cater for Electronic Security and Surveillance, Digital content distribution, cloud technology solutions (www.anexsecure.com).
He has been associated with several Safe City projects in Taiwan and China and is also a Technical Consultant for Iveda USA, Megasys Taiwan, etc for Safe City Projects in addition to being associated with APSA, MAIT, etc. He is currently the Chairman of MAIT SME Chapter and passionately promotes MAKE IN INDIA Program and other associated charter for uplifting of MSME and SME organizations in the country.

Hitesh has completed his Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia and a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from KLS Gogte Insitute of Technology, Belgaum. He is an active member of the Centre for Evidence-based Security Research (CESR) and is passionate towards the intersection of Computer Security, Economics of Cybercrime and Machine Learning.
He was previously a part of FireEye as a Security Researcher, specializing in researching new threats and reverse engineering the process of malware detection for better security.
In January 2015, he founded a company called Informant Networks, that focusses on Network Security related problems, specially internal security threats.
He joined the SSSPL team in 2018 and has been the driving force behind the research and development for improved solutions and the best in class technology exposure.
